Friday Jan. 27: The body of a Kurdistan border guard Wisam Jumaa was found brutally stabbed east of Baghdad in Khanaqin’s Saadiya district today. Sources claim Jumaa was savagely stabbed and his body tossed in an orchard. (AKnews)

Thursday Jan. 26: At least ten people were killed and four injured this evening when insurgents blew up a house owned by two brothers who worked for security forces in the Shiite dominated town of al-Musayyab located north of Hilla in Babil province. (AKnews)

Thursday Jan. 26: Police in Nineveh province found the bodies of three men in three differnt locations in Mosul today. The bodies showed marks of torture and there were gunshot marks on their heads and chests. (AKnews)

Thursday Jan. 26: A civilian was killed today in the province of Nineveh when an improvised explosive device struck his car on the road linking Mosul and the town of al-Shura. (AKnews)

Thursday Jan. 26: A sticky bomb attached to a motorcycle exploded in Kirkuk’s Tiseen neighborhood today, killing three and injuring three others. Aslo last night in the city’s Shorija neighborhood two people were injured when a sticky bomb exploded on a private car. Another civilian was killed in southern Kirkuk by a sticky bomb explosion.
